BM Chemicals goes beyond the demanding standards imposed by the chemicals industry by accompanying it in a policy of sustainable development that will allow the industry to reconcile personnel and equipment safety with economic growth and environmental protection.

Social responsibility is important at all levels of the company: -   employee awareness of environmental concerns -   alcohol and drug awareness campaigns -   strict enforcement of occupational health regulations -   management announcements -   round-the-clock emergency procedures (operating and media control)     We act to protect the environment: -   training programmes to develop economical and safe driving practices -   tests with natural gas-powered vehicles (Monoprix) -   intermodal resources: BM Combi, Ermechem, Modalohr -   safe procedures for cleaning station effluent disposal -   ISO 14001-approved practices at the SEVESO II site (Salaise - south-east France)     We act to make savings: -   training on common sense driving practices and individual fuel reduction objectives -   reworking customer accounts to reduce distances travelled with empty loads and improve fill ratios -   outsourcing to optimise tyre management: Michelin handles our fleet from supply to disposal -   developing our BM Pack Services offer, particularly for the management of HDPE IBCs (pick-up, cleaning and disposal)
